All event durations provided below have been calculated based on Triton's solid body occultation (2706 km diameter), not accounting for the presence of an atmosphere.
The duration of the gradual dimming of the lightcurve during ingress and egress will depend on the extent of Triton's atmosphere, and can last on the order of 30 s or longer.
